Our Practice Manager, Andrea Kennedy, oversees and develops the work of Dearne Valley Health Centre
Andrea leads a team of receptionists, secretaries and administrative staff. Her primary goal is to ensure that the practice runs efficiently for patients, and that the GPs and other healthcare professionals at the surgery have the support they need.
Andrea's duties include recruiting, training and managing reception and administrative staff, overseeing patient records, ensuring the appointments system runs smoothly, monitoring patient satisfaction, and handling any complaints, managing the production of leaflets and other communication methods for patients, ensuring the surgery's IT systems are maintained and developed, agreeing and managing the practice budget, monitoring progress on meeting government health targets and ensuring the quality of the healthcare services we provide to our patients remains high .
Andrea is assisted in the day-to-day running of Dearne Valley Health Centre by the Assistant Practice Manager.

The efficient running of Dearne Valley Health Centre could not be achieved without our dedicated, front desk reception team, and our back office staff of adminstators and secretaries.
Our reception team are there to help you, led by the reception supervisor NAME GOES HERE; they have extensive knowledge of the facilities and services available. When telephoning for medical attention the receptionist may ask for a few details, this will enable them to help you in the most appropriate way. Please be assured that the rules of confidentiality apply equally to all practice staff.
Together they form a team vital to our objective of delivering high quality healthcare to our patients.
